Details of Disappearance

On 11/13/2020, the Fort Bragg Police Department was notified that Brittany Adkins had not been in contact with family members for approximately six months. Adkins is known to have been residing in the Fort Bragg, California area for approximately a year and currently has no physical address or telephone number. It is reported Adkins associates with a male subject by the first name of Forest. Adkins whereabouts are unknown and there are no further leads thus far in this investigation.

Notes from family friend
Moved to Fort Bragg with her longtime boyfriend and dog Janie. They were Homeless. Last time the boyfriend saw Adkins they had argued. He says her dog is in Fort Bragg. Nobody has seen or heard from her since. Her Food stamps case is closed. Nobody knows where and when she last used her Food card? Her Grandpa who was helping her with money has not heard from her either. None of her friends and family have heard or seen her since 12/2019.

Unsubstantiated sightings in Ukiah, The Tenderloin District in San Francisco, and Sonoma and Mendocino Counties. Nothing verified. We love her and want to know what's happened.

This is not like her at all.

I just saw this new entry and wondering why it took so long for anyone to report her missing. Also, the file mentioned someone with the first name of Forest, does he have a known last name and has anyone in the family shared his full name with police yet?

Forrest was some guy who supposedly gave her a ride. The only thing I was told about him was that Forrest is a NICKNAME, he has a Car-Audio/Stereo installation shop in Willits and lives in a town just outside of Willits. And she hadn't been heard from since 12/2019 by friends and Family who grew concerned with this, and after being unable to make contact, her Food stamps case being closed, and her Grandfather not having had contact with her either - her Dad reported her MISSING. And he did that at the beginning of 2020. But nothing was done publicly about it until 2021 and the reason for that has never been shared with us. We have our suspicions - but there's nothing we can do about that at this point and finding her is what matters most.
